Actifai began with a simple idea: presenting the best offer for each individual customer, solving the paradox of choice, and decreasing the overwhelming feeling of browsing dozens of possible combinations of products and services. To do that, we’ve brought together the very best in data science, software engineering, business strategy, and customer support — all with the goal of improving the customer engagement experience on the buyer and seller side.

informed beginnings

As we started speaking with leading providers, we were struck by the sheer volume of internal data not being used to improve decision making. At the same time, we realized that new sources of external data could provide previously uncaptured benefits. Using these sources, we began training Actifai’s AI models to select the optimal offer for a customer, given their usage needs, budget, and corporate promotions — a decision that happens hundreds or thousands of times per day at large providers, which makes an ideal testing ground for AI. We put this knowledge into an intuitive, easy-to-learn UI that we expected would significantly improve upon many legacy systems that CSRs are stuck with today. And with that, we got to work.

Actifai’s first deployment was in partnership with a leading regional provider — and we’ve continued to view our customers as partners even as our commitments have grown. Many of Actifai’s products began as suggestions from customers or problems they couldn’t figure out how to solve. Every provider benefits from this partnership mindset. As we develop new products and industry-focused functionality, it becomes available on our unified platform, allowing providers to begin with the products that meet their needs and grow into our other engagement solutions when the time is right. We’re proud of the relationships we have built with operators across North America and the trust they’ve placed in us to solve many of their toughest challenges.

We believe our approach to listening and shaping our products to fit providers’ unique needs is why many of Actifai’s new partnerships began with referrals from our existing customers. Above all, we’re dedicated to producing real value – all of our customers started with a pilot designed to make a rollout decision easy by proving profit and performance impact. To date, every customer who has piloted Actifai has elected to roll over into a full license.

Ned serves as CEO of Actifai and Partner at Foundry.ai, an incubator of artificial intelligence companies and Actifai’s parent company.

He has led a variety of technology over the past 20 years, previously serving as Yahoo’s Head of the Americas, Chief Revenue Officer of AOL and CEO of AOL Networks, and CFO of LookSmart.
joel silverman Chief Customer Officer
Joel leads Actifai’s customer and commercial strategy and is responsible for sales, marketing, partnerships, and customer development.

He previously served as the CRO of Kasisto, focused on customer service AI applications. Prior to that, Joel held senior positions at Synchronoss, Virgin Mobile, and Accenture in sales, operations and customer experience.

Venu leads Actifai's day-to-day operations, including service delivery, customer success, finance, and administration.

He has over a decade of SaaS and analytics experience, having previously served in leadership roles at APT, Mastercard, Nike, and Zodiac (an AI startup predicting customer behavior).

Sudhanshu leads Actifai’s product development, data engineering, and machine learning teams.

Previously, he served as CTO at Nexus Payments. He has over 20 years of experience in leading and scaling global software development and support teams to develop stable, secure, and innovative technology solutions.
